What's a good movie to watch with a 13-year old younger brother?

Hey all, I go to college in another state, and this is my last couple of days I'd spring break- I want to watch a movie with my brother, who is 13, and loves action, adventure and scifi, but I would like to choose something a little less "standard" than Indy Jones, Star Wars, or the Avengers, and less gory than saving private Ryan (one of my favorite movies of all time). Any suggestions?
