Just finished watching Requiem for a dream

Holy fuck, that was one hell of a movie. I would say this is the movie that affected me the most. I'm not sure if this is normal but I cried three times during movie. I felt so, so, so bad for Sarah. Especially in the scene when she's talking to Harry about how lonely she is. The music played a big part too, it did a good job making the audience feel anxious and nervous.

It's not like a shoot up heroin or watch TV every single moment, but somehow, somehow I feel so connected to the characters. I can feel their anger, their depression, and their loneliness. This movie feels so realistic to me, it made the real world look fake. I should probably go give my mom a big hug right now.
