What is your favorite country for foreign films outside the United States, and could you name your five favorite films from that country?

I'm trying to watch more foreign films recently. I've seen most of the top films from a lot of different countries and want to get more in depth with each. Plus I want to see what countries cinema /r/Movies loves.

To answer my own question, I would say Korean Cinema is my favorite with a top 5 including: The Chaser, Oldboy, Masquerade, Memories of Murder, and I Saw the Devil. That was actually really tough to only pick 5. So if you have some must watch movies that don't make it into the top 5, just make mention of them anyway.
