The Place Beyond the Pines
Just watched this movie and was completely transfixed by it. The trailer gave me the impression of a straightforward story told conventionally. This movie was so much more and so original. The performances were all around fantastic, Mendelsohn, Gosling, Cooper and DeHaan give it their all. The 3 part story arch especially felt fresh. How do you all feel about this film? What did you get from it? Interpretations?
