How many of you genuinely watch movies at home without frequently being distracted by phones/tablets etc?
Ok, apologies in advance for a bit of a rant, but...
Everyone I know seems to have zero attention span these days and seem completely incapable of sitting down to watch a movie at home without whipping out their phone every 5 minutes, even worse they still claim to have watched the film and have an opinion on it.
I know that people will say it depends how gripping the story is but I call BS on that, unless it's just people I know they'll be intermittently distracted from beginning to end without giving it a proper chance.
I get that I'm probably more into my film than most, but is this the norm? Let's stick to watching a film for the first time, I get that if you're watching something a second time it's different.
