Help Me Identify This Movie

During the late 90's, I used to frequent the Detroit Film Theatre's weekend and Monday movie showings. I saw a movie that I'd like to see again, but cannot recall its title. I'm hoping somebody can help me identify it.

Here is what I remember about it:

• Foreign with subtitles. Possibly French or German.


• A murder or series of murders take place.


• Two main characters, the investigator and the suspect.


• Most of the movie takes place in a room as the investigator interviews the suspect.


• The name of the movie was something along the lines of "The Interrogation", or "The Interview".
