i am slow. two realizations about old movies that suddenly dawn on me 15 years later. so slow.

Gattaca ... movie with themes around our genetics. The title of the movie is made up of the DNA base pairs! I always wondered why the title made no sense. Just assumed it was some fictional city or something that would occur to me at a later date (just not 15 years later). Then it took on a different meaning when Raphy yelled it in The League.

The second one was, it always sounded familiar to me the way Paul Walker says "Dude, i almost had you!" with that stupid grin on his face in Fast and Furious 1. But couldn't put my finger on what. Now after rewatching 2x recently, i realize, thats classic Keanu. and i can see it. The original movie was just a Point Break rip off!
