Why did 47 Ronin get so much negative feedback? via /r/movies

I finally got around to watching it, and it didn’t seem as terrible as all of the reviews claimed.

Maybe my expectations were just so low, after all I heard, that it seemed like a decent movie. Keanu probably wasn’t the best choice for the outcast, and I think it would have been infinitely better in Japanese.

Besides those things, it wasn’t bad. At least not bad enough for all the hate directed towards it.
