I plan on watching every Ernest movie from beginning to end. An Ernest Movie Marathon. Any suggestions to make it more fun? via /r/movies

Hello, Reddit!

I’ve always loved Jim Varney. Say what you will, but I think the Ernest movies are a hilarious, light-hearted experience that everyone should be able to enjoy. I’ve decided I’m going to host a full-length Ernest Movie Marathon. I’ve got every mainstream Ernest Movie (Ernest Goes to Camp, all the way to Ernest in the Army) as well as almost all of the lesser-known specials he did (like Dr. Otto and the Gloom Beam, Ernest Goes to Splash Mountain, and so on). I plan on watching every single one, in chronological order, all in one day.

My question to you, then: What can I do to add just a little but more enjoyment to this marathon? I’m thinking along the lines of drinking game-type things (except I don’t drink). Like, maybe, I could keep a running tally of how many times Ernest gets hit on the head. Or I could eat a handful of popcorn every time he says “knowhutamean”. Or something like that.

Any ideas? Anyone else feeling inspired to watch all of Jim Varney’s hilarious exploits in denim?
