Explain the Birdman ending to me (Spoilers) via /r/movies

I really liked the movie, thought it was interesting and well shot. Great soundtrack, almost like a symphony overlaid on top of the movie. I thought the suicide on stage ending was pretty obvious and knew where the movie was going. But I didn’t understand the ending where he jumps out of the window. Isn’t the bridman persona all happening in his head?
