One of the last scenes in Django Unchained

So I just watched Django Unchained (Yes I am approx. 2 years behind on this) and thought it was terrific.

However, towards the last ten minutes or so, as Django has left Candie's mansion, there is a flashback of Schultz and another man in the mountains. Schultz says something along the lines of "you're the quickest draw I know" (heavy paraphrasing).

It seemed almost out of place as it wasn't addressed and the film finishes with Django and Hilde together. Was hoping someone could clear this up for me!
