Looking for similar movies to Afflicted and Cloverfield?

Hi guys!

I'm a monster movie kinda girl, but I'm very specific about my monsters.... So I'm looking for something like the two suggestions in my title, something with found footage or similar would be great.

Think along the lines of Super 8, Pacific Rim, Godzilla etc. I'd like it better if there was no romantic sub plot, but eh it's hollywood I'll take what I can get. Not so keen on stuff like The Thing.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations along the same lines as The Signal, that would be awesome! Thanks guys ( ˘ ³˘)
