What are you guys's thoughts on Winter Sleep (2014)?

Hey guys! I just finished this movie, and I really wanted to know what you guys thought! I wrote a review, which can be found along with many other reviews here.

I feel like its such a well done dialogue driven film that tells you so much in its three and a half hour run time without making it entirely feel like three and a half hours. I haven't seen any of Ceylan's other films, but from what I hear, it's one of his best. If I wanted to watch another one of his movies, which one should I start with?

Did you guys think it was slow? I'm afraid to recommend this movie because I don't think my friends would appreciate its methodicalness.
