What the hell happened to Sam Worthington?

I never really thought he was a great actor or anything but the man stared in some pretty high grossing films, not even counting Avatar. You would think producers would rope him in as a A-List action star, but I can't even remember the last movie he was in.

Looking on Wikipedia he is lined up for Avatar 2-4 from 2016-2018, he is just spending all his time working on the films?
